9/11 Truthers Out In Full Force
September 11, 2007As seen in downtown at Westlake Mall, 3rd & Pike, and Pike Place Market. Eli Sanders at The Stranger reports that Ron Paul will be in town this Friday. Expect a huge 9/11 Truther buildup in anticipation of his visit.
Cloak-wearing Covey Sweeps Through the Market
August 15, 2007Well, at least they weren’t buying crack. A group of caped teens (though possibly early to mid-twenty somethings) caught more than one persons eye outside the Pike Place Market. Notice the first guys laughing hysterically as they glance over, and then breeze by…
At the same location, a man driving a red scooter was observed to have a Dachsund (don’t worry he had a helmet too!) on his lap. Flip phone wasn’t fast enough, our apologies to all you dog fans!
As seen at First & Pike Street.
“Duck Lady”
August 15, 2007Forget the Cat Lady. We’ve spotted a “Duck Lady”. Giving its owner some duck love, and seeming to appreciate affection from fellow bus riders. the duck was rather well mannered (minus a possible snap at an overly friendly passenger).
Some riders were speculating on where the woman got the duck. At least one person suspected fowl play [snark]!
Apparently the Duck Lady wasn’t concerned about her pet’s effluent. After all, how many bums have we seen take an unceremonious duke on the bus (albeit in their pants) and get away with it, heh?

Saw it on a packed out express Metro run from Greenlake to Downtown.
Spontaneous Break Dancing
August 14, 2007When it gets hot in Seattle, people start to do incredibly strange things! Hell, people do weird stuff when it’s not hot, imagine what 80 degrees will do…
As seen August 14, 2007 atop the Second & Union parking garage.
Addt’l commentary: Heckuva lot better than watching the cops write jay-walking tickets, or watching street toughs and bums slug it out over turf. Speaking of which, look for a special weekend post on experiences in fine downtown Seattle dining. It’ll be titled, “The Turf.”
